Is There Any Cost Involved?

We financially support ourselves so fundraising is part of our enjoyable social life to keep our annual fees and weekly costs to a minimum. After an initial trial period for new members, there is an annual fee of $35 and a weekly rehearsal cost of $8 to cover the costs of the rehearsal venue, the accompanist and the musical director.

Do You Need to Be Able to Read Music?

No, it obviously helps but we all help each other.

Do New Members Need to Have an Audition?

No, we just want you to come along and enjoy singing with us. You will quickly work out which section you feel comfortable singing in, and in time it is amazing how much your singing voice will improve.

Do You Need to Have Singing Experience?

No, just a commitment to attend and to practise at home.
